Saved Palettes: If you choose to save color palettes, this information is stored locally in your browser using browser storage (localStorage).

We DO NOT collect:

• Any login credentials or sensitive information
• Information from websites you don't explicitly analyze

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• To extract and display color palettes from websites you choose to analyze
• To save your color palettes locally for future reference
• To provide the core functionality of our extension

3. Data Storage and Security

All color palettes and settings are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage mechanisms. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

4. Required Permissions and Why We Need Them

Our extension requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: Required to access the current tab's content to extract colors. We only access the tab when you explicitly click the "Extract Colors" button.
• storage: Required to save your color palettes and settings locally in your browser.
• scripting: Required to inject our color extraction script into the current tab when you request color analysis.

We request only the minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function properly.

5. Third-Party Services

ColorTouch AI does not share any data with third-party services or APIs. All color extraction and processing happens locally within your browser.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can access all saved color palettes directly through the extension interface.
• Export: You can export your color palettes in various formats (CSS, SCSS, JSON, etc.).
• Delete: You can delete individual color palettes or all saved data through the extension interface.

7. Intellectual Property Notice

While colors themselves are not generally copyrightable, specific color combinations and palettes may be part of a company's brand identity and protected by trademark law. Users should respect brand guidelines when using extracted colors for commercial purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Our extension is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
